Where does DuPont Get Its Drinking Water? Groundwater!

Our only source of drinking water in DuPont, Washington is from groundwater, literally pumped from aquifers below.  That's why the EPA designated our groundwater system, as "sole source."

Read the following report, prepared by Aspect Consulting for Cal Portland related to the draw down from the proposed mine expansion:

"Based on this survey and work in the area over the past decade, we are highly confident that all new construction within the subject area (part of the Northwest Landing development) receives its water supply from the City of DuPont, and that there are no domestic wells (exempt wells) or spring sources used for water supply within the subject area. We know this from personal experience since 1989 assisting with development and permitting of the City’s water supplies, work on the Former DuPont Works Site remedial investigation/feasibility study, and field work associated with evaluation of the area hydrology."

This is not real science; its nothing more than corporate propaganda!
