This is the largest of several of our fresh water springs in DuPont, Washington, along the Puget Sound shoreline that will be lost if the gravel mine expands.
They hope to use the fresh water springs as a vehicle to discharge 6.5 million gallons a day of untreated post-mining water. What will this do to the Puget Sound and nearby Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge?
